Spring Blooms Mommy & Me Sessions | Montrose, Colorado Mindful Family Photographer

We were so excited to take photos this year with the blooms. Rebeccah & Remy are the sweetest. Sunrise this time of year in CO can still be pretty chilly – the morning of their session was especially cold – in the low 40’s. The week prior, we were in the 80’s. It’s been a very interesting journey with weather lately.

Remy was great. We kept her moving to keep her warm & putting a coat on her to warm up in-between photos. We love mini sessions – especially in these types of circumstances. Sometimes the weather isn’t “ideal”. If we need to reschedule we absolutely will. And sometimes the sessions turn out like this in under 10 minutes – And we are so grateful we took these when we did. 2 days later it snowed and all the blooms were finished blooming.
